On January 10th 2013, The Honourable Peter Milliken, Fellow of the Queen’s University School of Policy Studies and Patron of the Sir John A. Macdonald Bicentennial Commission, and André Juneau, Director of the Queen’s University Institute for Intergovernmental Relations invited guests to join them in attending Macdonald and Federalism: A Special Conference at the historic Grand Theatre in Kingston, Ontario. Prize-winning Macdonald biographer Richard Gwyn delivered the luncheon keynote speech, and afternoon panelists included Professor Patrice Dutil of Ryerson University; Professors Kathy Brock and Jonathan Rose of Queen’s University; the Honourable Peter Van Loan, Government House Leader, Government of Canada; and Professor Hugh Mellon of Western University’s King’s University College.
We were also pleased to offer conference participants a ticket to that evening’s performance of Sir John Eh? The Musical.
